What is Story Changers all about?

Story Changers is a
**KA201 - Strategic Partnerships for school education project (01.12.2020-31.03.2023)**
, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, which consists of
**eight partners**
from
**five different**
EU countries (Cyprus, France, Greece, Malta and Spain) and is coordinated by MMC Management Centre Ltd.

The project targets pupils and teachers of primary education and aims at the development of pupils’ social skills through a combination of Storytelling and Virtual Reality.

**OBJECTIVES**
By the end of the project, pupils are expected to:

- To enhance their social skills, such as empathy, critical thinking, problem solving, accepting diversity, self-consciousness etc.
- To discover the power of Storytelling and be inspired to use it in their everyday life as well as in their future life (studies, professional career)
- To acquaint themselves with new and innovative technologies, upgrading their digital/ICT skills

By the end of the project, teachers are expected to:

- To upgrade their teaching skills through integrating the concept of Storytelling in their teaching
- To acquaint themselves with new and innovative teaching methods which combine storytelling and interactive VR scenarios and hence upgrade their digital/ICT skills
- To enhance skills such as creativity and flexibility and integrate them in their daily classroom practice

The aforementioned objectives will be achieved through the creation of ten
**“You Tell” stories**
, a series of interactive stories for primary education pupils with several alternative plots to be chosen by pupils based on their social skills and values. Five of these “You Tell” stories will be converted to
**interactive VR scenarios**
. The stories and VR interactive scenarios, along with other deliverables (e.g., icebreakers, guides), will be included in the
**teaching package**
compiled to be used by teachers inside and outside the consortium for the development of their pupils’ social skills.
