🚨 We're Hiring | Civil & Structural Engineer – Utility-Scale Solar PV EPC
📍 Location: North Macedonia (Project Site)
POWERCHINA JEPCC is looking for an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to join our ESM 30MW Utility-Scale Solar PV EPC Project in North Macedonia.
The project includes the Bitola 20MW Solar PV Plant and Oslomej 10MW Solar PV Plant, delivering engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and grid connection works in line with European standards and international EPC best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Review and optimize pile foundations and PV mounting structure foundation designs.
Review pull-out test (POT) requirements and reports.
Review internal roads, drainage systems, cable trenches, duct banks, and substation civil works.
Optimize earthworks quantities and site grading design.
Review IFC drawings, BOQs, material take-offs, and technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with Employer's Requirements, EPC Contract requirements, Eurocodes (EN Standards), and project technical specifications.
Review and approve construction method statements and contractor shop drawings.
Provide technical support for RFIs and site engineering issues.
Participate in site inspections, quality control, and construction acceptance.
Coordinate design changes and site modifications during construction.
Review as-built documentation and support testing, commissioning, and final project handover.
Key Requirements:
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in Utility-Scale Solar PV, Substation, or Power EPC projects
✅ Strong knowledge of Eurocodes (EN Standards)
✅ Experience reviewing IFC drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation
✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant civil/structural engineering software
✅ Excellent communication and coordination skills
✅ Experience in design coordination and subcontractor management
