**Position Overview**
An IT Data Analyst in Audit bridges the gap between data science and assurance, enabling audit teams to become proactive, technology‑driven units. The analyst leverages advanced analytics and AI‑enabled platforms to uncover anomalies, validate internal controls, and automate testing across financial, operational, and IT systems. By combining technical expertise with audit insight, the role enhances efficiency, quality, and risk management in assurance engagements.
**Key Responsibilities**
· Data extraction & preparation: Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from ERP systems, databases, and cloud environments to support audit fieldwork.
· Control testing & anomaly detection: Design and execute data‑driven procedures to evaluate control effectiveness, detect fraud, and highlight inefficiencies.
· Continuous auditing: Implement automated monitoring solutions that enable real‑time risk management.
· Visualization & reporting: Present complex findings through clear reports and interactive dashboards tailored to audit stakeholders.
· Knowledge sharing: Coach and upskill auditors in data analytics methodologies and tools, fostering a culture of innovation.
**Qualifications**
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in data analytics
· Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
· Proven ability to bridge technical data analysis with business and audit requirements.
· Comfort with AI‑enabled tools and concepts, including anomaly detection, workflow automation, and audit documentation support.
