The
**Production Buyer (IES-buyer)**
plays a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted aviation operations through the strategic sourcing and procurement of aircraft parts and materials. This position directly impacts operational efficiency, supplier performance, and cost optimization within a highly regulated aerospace environment. **Responsibilities**

- Purchase aircraft parts and materials in line with operational and compliance requirements
- Manage purchase orders from requisition to fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery
- Investigate supply chain issues and perform root cause analysis for resolution
- Maintain high service standards for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality and compliance standards
- Support development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures
- Identify new supplier opportunities, including pricing structures and volume benefits
- Monitor international shipments and ensure compliance with customs regulations
- Prepare and maintain regulatory reports, including HMRC and export compliance documentation
- Oversee inventory processes including stock control and annual stock take reporting
- Manage return-to-parts materials, donor units, and service exchanges through workflows
- Control consignment stock across internal and external locations
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure continuity and timely updates
- Administer procurement workflows through internal systems to meet SLA targets
- Source materials through third-party marketplaces and validate supplier approvals
- Handle supplier complaints and manage expectations through effective communication
- Provide feedback on non-compliance and coordinate technical information across teams
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive performance and growth
- Gather market intelligence to inform pricing, performance, and business opportunities
- Support commercial teams with supplier insights and new service opportunities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts
- Support business development activities related to supplier engagement

**Qualifications**

- **3 to 5 years of experience in Supplier Relationship Management with a focus on value delivery**
- **Strong understanding of procurement processes within aviation or related industries**
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and analytical capability
- Proficiency in
**ERP, WMS, CRM platforms, and relevant procurement systems**
- Ability to analyze supplier data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Demonstrated strategic thinking in supplier management and long-term planning
- Proven ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and champion change
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration within operational environments
- Capability to identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and performance

**Job Overview**

Employment Type: Full time


Shift: Day shift, flexible (8AM-5PM UKT), Weekends off
