**Role Overview**
We are looking for a
**Senior BI Consultant**
who can transform raw data into meaningful insights and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong expertise in BI tools, data modeling, and stakeholder management, along with a consulting mindset to deliver scalable and impactful BI solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Lead end-to-end BI engagements including requirement gathering, data modeling, dashboard design, and deployment
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into BI solutions
• Design and develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports for executive and operational users
• Build and maintain semantic models, data marts, and BI layers to ensure consistency and performance
• Optimize queries, data models, and reports for performance and scalability
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, security, and adherence to best practices
• Drive BI standards, templates, and reusable components across projects
• Mentor junior BI developers and conduct design/code reviews
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse design
• Support pre-sales activities, estimations, and client demos (for consulting roles)
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 8–12+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, or analytics roles
• Strong expertise in BI tools such as
**Power BI and/or SSRS.**
• Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake)
• Experience working with data warehouses and cloud platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration concepts
• Strong understanding of KPI design, metrics frameworks, and reporting best practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
