We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic
**Senior Backend Engineer**
(m/w/d) , who desires to contribute to the growth and success of our Tech Team.
**Your role in BizAway**
You will be working in a cross-functional team to implement new features, evolve the current platform to keep up with the continuous growth and collaborate with your colleagues to transform ideas into concrete solutions.
**Your Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in backend development, with a solid understanding of Node.js, TypeScript, and Mongo
- Experience with OpenAPI standard (swagger).
- Proficient with one of the following Node.js frameworks: Fastify, Express, Nest.js
- Experience in writing automated tests
- Understanding of AWS as a cloud provider.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
**We are also interested in**
- Experience with ElasticSearch.
- Experience with message brokers like Kafka
- Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Domain Driven Design knowledge
**The selection process**
We welcome applications in English and Italian. If you pass our screening, we’ll ask you to take on a few tests that assess your technical knowledge and how you approach problems. If you’re successful with those, we’ll invite you to a series of interviews.
