Job Overview
The Healthcare Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management and process optimization of a healthcare institution, ensuring efficient, compliant, and patient-centric healthcare services. This role supports the institution's strategic goals by improving service quality, operational efficiency, and cost control through cross-departmental collaboration, data analytics, and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
\*\*Operations Management\*\*
Overall coordination and management of the daily operations of the healthcare institution.
Optimize clinical and non-clinical operational processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
Supervise patient visit processes, scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity management.
\*\*Quality and Compliance\*\*
Ensure operations comply with national and local medical regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
Participate in medical quality management, patient safety, and continuous improvement projects.
Cooperate with internal and external audits, assessments, and certifications.
\*\*Team and Cross-Departmental Collaboration\*\*
Work closely with physicians, nursing teams, administration, finance, IT, and other departments.
Participate in staffing planning, performance management, and training support.
Promote cross-departmental communication to resolve operational problems and bottlenecks.
\*\*Data Analysis and Performance Management\*\*
Establish and monitor key operational indicators (KPIs), such as patient satisfaction, turnover rate, and cost efficiency.
Use data analysis to identify improvement opportunities and drive their implementation.
Report operational performance and improvement suggestions to management regularly.
\*\*Cost and Resource Management\*\*
Assist in budget development and cost control.
Optimize the use of equipment, consumables, and other operational resources.
Support supplier management and process optimization.
Project and change management.
Participate in or lead operational improvement, digital transformation, or process reengineering projects.
Drive the implementation of new systems, processes, or service models.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in healthcare management, public health, business administration, nursing, or a related field.
3-7 years of operational management experience in the healthcare or related industries.
Familiar with healthcare systems, processes, and relevant regulations and policies.
Excellent communication, coordination, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in operating hospital chains, clinic chains, or digital healthcare platforms.
Familiar with HIS/EMR and other healthcare information systems.
Possess Lean management, Six Sigma, or project management certifications (e.g., PMP).
