POWERCHINA is seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager (Civil) to support the delivery of utility-scale Solar PV EPC projects in North Macedonia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy developments and contribute to the successful execution of civil and infrastructure works.
🔹 Role Overview
The Deputy Project Manager (Civil) will support the Project Manager in the execution of utility-scale Solar PV EPC projects, focusing on civil, structural, and infrastructure works. The role will coordinate subcontractors, monitor construction progress, manage stakeholder interfaces, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Support overall project execution and construction management.
• Coordinate civil works including earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, and infrastructure.
• Manage local subcontractors and construction teams.
• Monitor project schedule, quality, and HSE compliance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, utilities, and local authorities.
• Support permitting, inspections, and regulatory approvals.
• Assist with project reporting, risk management, and contract administration.
• Coordinate site activities and resolve construction issues.
🔹 Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of construction or EPC project experience.
• Experience in Solar PV, renewable energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of contractor management and construction execution.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Experience working with local authorities and project stakeholders.
🔹 Preferred Qualifications
• Utility-scale Solar PV project experience.
• Professional Engineering License.
• Experience working with international EPC contractors.
