**Role Description**
This is a full-time, on-site Software QA Engineer role based in Tirana, Albania. The Software QA Engineer will design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of payment and KYC software products. The role involves performing manual testing on web and mobile applications, validating new features, identifying defects, and collaborating with software developers and product teams to resolve issues. The Software QA Engineer will participate in requirements reviews, contribute to test strategy and documentation, and help improve QA processes and standards. The position also includes close cooperation with cross-functional teams to support continuous integration and delivery initiatives.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong foundation in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance practices
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting
- Understanding of Software Development principles and the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with test management tools, issue tracking systems, and version control tools (Jira, Github, XRay, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of automated testing concepts and willingness to learn relevant tools (
Cypress, Playwright
)
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong problem solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
- German language skills is a plus
- Certifications in the domain are a plus
- Experience with payment or KYC systems is a plus
