**The role**
This is a founding-level hire for a builder, someone who ships things, owns the architecture, and also cares deeply about what gets built and why. You'll lead technology and product at Bliss, working directly with the CEO and our clinical advisors to move fast without cutting corners on safety or compliance.
If you've shipped AI products in production, understand what it means to build in a regulated context, and want genuine ownership at an early-stage company with a real mission, this is the role.
**What you'll own**
\* Technical architecture: system design, data infrastructure, API design, third-party integrations, and stack decisions
\* AI system design: LLM integration, prompt engineering, output safety guardrails, and escalation logic for a clinical-adjacent context
\* Product roadmap across B2C platform, B2B employer dashboard, and Therapist Twin AI SaaS, in close collaboration with the CEO
\* Translating clinical advisor input into product and technical requirements
\* Engineering team leadership and vendor relationships
\* EU AI Act and GDPR compliance from a technical standpoint, we have a strong foundation, you'll own evolving it
**What we're looking for**
\* Proven experience shipping AI products in production - not just prototyping with LLMs, but deploying responsibly at scale
\* Strong technical foundation - you can make architecture decisions, review code, and earn the trust of engineers
\* Comfortable owning product direction alongside technical execution, this is a 0→1 environment, not a committee
\* Healthtech or regulated-industry experience strongly preferred, you understand what it means to build where safety matters
\* Familiarity with EU regulatory context (GDPR, EU AI Act) or genuine willingness to get up to speed fast
**Nice to have**
\* Experience with mental health, wellbeing, or clinical-adjacent platforms
\* Background working with multilingual or multicultural user bases
\* Familiarity with Bubble, Lovable, or no-code/low-code hybrid stacks
\* Experience building for B2B SaaS and B2C simultaneously
**Compensation**
This is an early-stage founding team role. We're transparent about the trade-off: the cash compensation reflects where we are today, and the equity reflects where we're going.
