**Position: Junior Accounting Assistant**
**(QuickBooks or Xero Specialist)**
**Location: Tirana, Albania (on-site)| Hours: Monday–Friday, 15:00 – 23:00 (evening transportation included)**
**About the Role:**
**We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accounting Assistant**
to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the department by ensuring financial accuracy, managing accounts payable and receivable workflows, maintaining organized financial records, and assisting senior staff during month-end closing cycles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow their accounting career in a dynamic environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform accurate data entry and expense tracking
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Support month-end closing activities
- Maintain organized digital financial records
- Collaborate with senior accounting staff on various finance tasks
**Qualifications:**
**Required:**
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (Debits/Credits)
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero)
- High accuracy in data entry and expense management
- Strong organizational skills for digital filing systems
**Preferred:**
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with bank reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
**Tools & Programs:**
- QuickBooks or Xero
- Microsoft Excel (advanced – VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
**Experience:**
- 1–2 years in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-focused administration
