**Overall Job Definition**
**The Associate Relationship Officer for Business**
supports the development and management of relationships with new and existing businesses customers. The role assists in identifying client needs, promoting the Bank’s products and services, supporting lending activities, and contributing to the achievement of business objectives while ensuring compliance with the Bank's policies and regulatory requirements.
**Main Responsibilities**
· Supports the SME Manager and Relationship Officers in achieving business objectives and implementing business development activities.
· Contributes to the achievement of individual and department targets.
· Assists in maintaining and developing relationships with existing and prospective business clients through meetings, calls, and ongoing communication.
· Identifies customer needs and provides information regarding the Bank’s products and services.
· Supports the sales process and ensures high-quality service delivery to business customers.
· Conducts market research and gathers information to identify business opportunities and customer needs.
· Maintains up-to-date knowledge of products and services offered to business clients.
· Promotes the Bank’s image and values in a professional manner.
· Assists in the preparation and processing of credit applications and related documentation.
· Collects, reviews, and verifies customer financial and legal documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
· Supports financial analysis and the preparation of credit recommendations under the guidance of senior team members.
· Assists in assessing customer creditworthiness, financial performance, and business activities.
· Monitors loan disbursements and outstanding commitments to ensure timely completion of approved facilities.
· Maintains accurate customer records and portfolio information in the Bank’s systems.
· Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, banking confidentiality, anti-money laundering regulations, and other applicable procedures.
· Coordinates with other departments to ensure efficient processing of customer requests and transactions.
· Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
**Competencies / Skills**
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
· Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in banking, finance, sales, customer relationship management, or a related field.
· Good understanding of banking products and financial services.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
· Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to work.
· Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
· Ability to prepare reports and business-related documentation in a clear and organized manner.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
· Good oral and written communication skills in both Albanian and English.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience in SME, retail banking, or business customer support will be considered an advantage.
· Basic understanding of credit analysis and lending processes.
· Strong customer service orientation and willingness to develop a career in relationship management.
