**Role Description**
The Junior GIS Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Tirana. This role involves supporting the development and maintenance of GIS datasets, maps, and geospatial products for various projects and internal stakeholders. The Junior GIS Analyst will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing spatial and non-spatial data, performing basic GIS analyses, and preparing visual outputs such as maps, reports, and dashboards. Daily tasks include working with GIS applications, updating databases, documenting workflows, and collaborating with senior team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency. The role also supports troubleshooting GIS-related issues and contributes to continuous improvement of geospatial processes and tools.
**Qualifications**
- Basic knowlage in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and core GIS Applications.
- Solid Data Management skills, including organizing, validating, and maintaining geospatial datasets.
- Basic knowledge of cartographic principles and data visualization best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with common GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and related tools.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow established procedures, and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- English language proficiency and knowledge of the Albanian context are beneficial.
