The mission of Southeastern Louisiana University is to lead the educational, economic, and cultural development of Southeast Louisiana.
We are the state’s third-largest public university, boasting 15,500 students and more than 150 programs of study. With a small-town location, personal attention to students and a close-knit community of engaged learners, we feel like a small college. We are passionate about our students, providing them with a challenging college experience that empowers them with a lifelong education.
