is seeking an experienced
**Cost Estimation Engineer**
with expertise in preparing cost estimates and calculating costs for construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, solid technical and economic knowledge, and experience in price analysis, quantity take-offs, and the preparation of technical and financial documentation, contributing to the efficient planning and execution of projects.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare bills of quantities (BoQs) and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Calculate work quantities based on technical drawings and relevant project documentation.
- Analyze projects and verify consistency between drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
- Prepare unit price analyses for construction work items, materials, and labor.
- Update cost estimates in accordance with project changes and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, site engineers, and other departments to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates for new projects.
- Participate in preparing technical and financial documentation for procurement and tendering procedures.
- Review and compare actual completed work quantities against those specified in the cost estimates.
- Archive and manage the technical and financial documentation of projects.
**Qualifications**
- University degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing bills of quantities and cost estimates within the construction sector.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, preparing price analyses, calculating quantities, and using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as specialized cost-estimation software.
- Knowledge of construction legislation and technical standards, market analysis,cost monitoring, and the verification of construction work payment statements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage deadlines.
- Experience in civil, industrial, or infrastructure projects is considered an advantage.
