Platform Engineer (MVS Linux)

**Tasks**

- Provision, configure, and maintain virtual servers across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of virtualized infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server performance issues quickly and effectively.
- Install, manage, and optimize Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) for efficiency and stability.
- Apply updates, patches, and perform software installations.
- Automate server provisioning and management using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Terraform (IaC).
- Implement monitoring (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana) and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability

**Requirements**

- Strong expertise in Linux systems administration (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, etc.).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing virtual environments in the cloud.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK stack).
- Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide scalable solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration is a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
