As a
**Procurement Specialist (IMRO-buyer)**
, you will operate at the center of aviation supply chain continuity-ensuring critical aircraft parts and materials are sourced, delivered, and managed with precision. This role directly influences operational readiness, supplier performance, and cost efficiency across high-stakes aerospace environments. You will engage with global suppliers, drive procurement strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen supply chain resilience and commercial outcomes.

**Responsibilities**

- Take ownership of procurement decisions and outcomes across purchasing activities
- Maintain transparency in supplier engagements and stakeholder communications
- Uphold integrity in reporting, feedback, and supplier interactions
- Identify supply chain risks and resolve issues through proactive problem-solving
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on procurement priorities
- Communicate expectations clearly and provide structured feedback to stakeholders
- Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
- Purchase aircraft parts and materials in line with operational procedures
- Manage timely placement and fulfilment of purchase orders based on operational requirements
- Investigate supply chain errors and conduct root cause analysis
- Maintain high service levels for internal teams and external suppliers
- Ensure cost competitiveness in sourcing and procurement decisions
- Support development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
- Review procurement methodologies and recommend operational improvements
- Identify new suppliers, negotiate pricing structures, and maintain price lists
- Monitor international shipments and ensure compliance with customs requirements
- Address HMRC-related queries and ensure data accuracy within required timelines
- Prepare regulatory reports including Inward Processing Reports and export documentation
- Manage inventory control, stock counts, and reporting requirements
- Oversee return-to-parts materials, donor units, and service exchange cycles
- Manage consignment stock across multiple locations
- Represent procurement in supplier meetings, trade events, and business reviews
- Maintain daily communication with suppliers regarding repairs and order status
- Administer workflows through WMS systems to meet SLA targets
- Source materials through third-party marketplaces and approved vendors
- Manage supplier complaints and ensure resolution and expectation alignment
- Provide feedback on non-compliant orders and relay technical requirements
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through structured engagement
- Gather market intelligence on pricing, supplier performance, and opportunities
- Support commercial teams with supplier insights and strategic input
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements
- Monitor compliance and support internal capability development through training
- Support business development initiatives related to supplier onboarding

**Qualifications**

- **3 to 5 years of procurement or supplier management experience**
- Strong background in
**Supplier Relationship Management**
with value-driven outcomes
- High level of organization, confidence, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- **Proficiency in relevant databases, ERP, WMS, or CRM systems**
- Ability to analyze supplier data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights
- Technical capability in system optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align procurement with business goals
- Leadership capability to influence stakeholders and drive change
- Experience managing end-to-end initiatives and supplier engagement campaigns
- Strong cross-functional collaboration across departments and stakeholders
- Proven ability to identify and implement performance and process improvements

**Job Overview**

Shift: Day shift, flexible (8AM-5PM UKT), Weekends off
