We are hiring:
**Delivery Lead**
Location:
**remote (Macedonia)**
**Responsibilities:**
- Run sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives, focused on outcomes rather than ceremony. Plan and forecast delivery with the founding team.
- Shape scope, flag risks early, and keep founders honest about what's realistic. Keep the backlog in good shape: break down work, write clear acceptance criteria, and make sure upcoming sprints are ready to start.
- Track delivery metrics (deploy frequency, lead time, change failure rate, time to restore) and use them to guide improvements, not to assign blame.
- Strengthen how we ship: sharpen Definition of Ready/Done, embed testing into the workflow, and coordinate exploratory and regression testing before releases.
- Lead calm, blameless responses to incidents and missed deadlines. Run root-cause analysis and turn findings into concrete changes.
- Partner with support to triage customer issues, route incidents to the right engineer, and feed recurring problems back into the roadmap.
- Help the team get more out ofAI-assisted development: encourage good prompting habits, and make sure AI-generated code is reviewed, hardened and tested like any other code.
- You'll work directly with the founders to shape scope, set realistic timelines, and keep delivery predictable. This is a hands-on role in a startup.
**Requirements**
- Experience as a Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or similar role in a software engineering team, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills. You can remove blockers, run a useful retro, and push back on scope when needed.
- Comfortable working with delivery and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Track record of improving release quality and reducing defects through close collaboration with engineers. Excellent communication. You can align founders, engineers and support around a clear plan without creating bureaucracy.
- Experience with, or genuine interest in, AI-assisted development workflows.
