IT Technician (Vlorë, Albania)

The Deskside Technician will provide client specific IT support to the End Users, handle IT related problems in order of priority and within the optimum time scale, in accordance with procedures and project SLA’s.
**ROLE LOCATION**
· Vlorë, Albania
**LANGUAGES REQUIRED**
· English (B2 level)
· Local (B2-C1 level) Albanian (Tosk dialect)
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
· IT support of users
· Hardware installation, movement and de-installation
· Diagnosing problems concerning personal hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners etc.)
· System and application changes testing, scripts preparation in MS Windows 7, 8 & 10 and MS Office 2010, 2013 & 2016/365 environment
· Small project management related with new hardware or software installation
· Software, patches and updates installation using MS SCCM
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
· University grade or Certifications in the subject of IT, electronics or telecommunication
· Mastery in Window 7/10 and MS Office 2010/2013/2016/365 environment
· Hardware problems diagnose skills (PC's, laptops, printers etc.)
· ITIL methodology and SNOW tool skills very welcome
· Knowledge of remote administrative tools in Windows 7/10 environment
· Working knowledge of iPads, iPhones, Android and other mobile devices technology
· Knowledge of LAN, Wireless and VPN technologies to perform basic troubleshooting
· Working knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange
· Experience of Cisco desk phone system
· Familiar with printer and multi-functional devices
· Familiar with AV systems
· Willingness to learn new technologies
· English speaking at competent level
· Relevant Health & Safety (regional equivalent) training and certification for attending sites including comms rooms/machine rooms/Data Centres
· Competent to Rack and Stack device including cabling
· Arrives with relevant tools to complete R&S and be able to log onto device via console port (torch, cables, phone to tether to and laptop that supports)
· Basic NW knowledge to be effective in taking directions from remote engineer and project manager
· Positive, helpful attitude and ability to work with others
· Strong communication skills, service delivery orientation
· Ability to cope with stress and workload
· Organized, structured approach
