**IT Support Specialist**
**Job Purpose:**
To provide technical support to company users regarding computer systems, hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure.
**MANAGEMENTS DIMENSIONS:**
**a. Operations**
- Provide remote or on-site technical support to company users.
- Administer and maintain IT equipment (computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals).
- Support the operation of network connectivity (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Manage user requests and incidents through the helpdesk system.
- Support user administration in company systems (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
- Install, configure, and update applications and systems.
- Assist in the implementation of IT infrastructure projects and improvements.
**b. Expected Results**
- Fast and efficient resolution of user technical issues.
- Reliable operation of IT systems and equipment.
- Reduction of IT service downtime.
- Increased user satisfaction with IT services.
- Compliance with the company’s IT security standards and policies.
**Role and Responsibilities:**
- Provide first and second level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers and peripheral devices.
- Install and update software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Maintain the company’s IT equipment inventory.
- Support endpoint security systems (antivirus, updates, and patch management).
- Update IT procedures documentation and technical guidelines.
- Participate in the implementation of IT projects and infrastructure improvements.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes (device setup and access provisioning).
- Manage and respond to user requests through the helpdesk system.
**Skills and Qualifications**
**:**
- Knowledge of
**Microsoft Windows operating systems**
(installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
- Knowledge of
**Microsoft 365**
and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Experience with
**Active Directory**
user and access management.
- Basic knowledge of
**Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)**
.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and connection troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting
**VPN**
and remote access solutions.
- Ability to diagnose and maintain hardware (computers, laptops, printers).
- Experience using
**ticketing/helpdesk systems**
.
- Knowledge of basic
**IT security practices**
and information security policies.
- Basic knowledge of
**ERP systems**
(e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar).
- 1–2 years of experience in Information Technology.
- University degree in
**Information Systems, Information Technology**
, or related fields.
- Good command of the
**English language**
