**Role Overview**
We’re looking for a Network Engineer (Mid-Level/Onsite).
In this role you will design, implement, operate and optimize network infrastructure and security controls.
You’ll focus on configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of network performance and reliability.
**What You'll Do**
✅ Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve existing implementations.
✅ Install, configure, and support network equipment (e.g., firewalls, routers, switches, access points).
✅ Configure and manage network services (e.g., routing, VPNs, QoS, VLANs, STP/RSTP).
✅ Perform network maintenance and system upgrades with documented rollback plans.
✅ Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability; conduct capacity planning.
✅ Track system resource utilization and trends; support capacity planning.
✅ Select and implement security controls, tools, policies, and procedures.
**What We're Looking For**
✔ Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE 4) or higher (CCNP/NSE 5 highly valued); MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA).
✔ Solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP models.
✔ Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPsec, BGP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP, 802.11, QoS, NAT).
✔ Proven experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VoIP design and implementation.
✔ Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.
✔ Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to research networking issues and products.
✔ Ability to prioritize and organize tasks and projects in a high‑pressure environment and work effectively in a team.
In addition:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent; minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
✔ Ability to capture and document network requirements, changes, and standard operating procedures.
✔ Relevant vendor certifications are desired.
