**Serves the product owner**
by making sure everyone on the team understands the project’s goals and scope, helping the product owner maintain the product backlog and facilitating scrum events (daily standups, other meetings) as needed.
**Serves the development team**
by coaching the development team in self-organization, helping remove obstacles to the developers’ progress and facilitating scrum events (daily standups, other meetings) as needed.
**Serves the entire organization**
by encouraging the organization to adopt the scrum methodology in their own workflow, coaching the organization on the transition to a scrum working framework and keeping the organization, particularly the project’s stakeholders, up to date on the progress of the scrum team’s projects.
**Functional Expertise**
· Promotes & ensures implementation of agile principles, scrum values and practices
· Facilitates scrum rituals and other team and stakeholder events
· Helps the team agree on what they can achieve during each development sprint.
· Trains team members on Scrum application and agile practices to solve specific issues, ensures the Scrum/Agile maturity of the team
· Helps the team continuously make progress by making sure each person is working on the right tasks, helping remove any obstacles,
· Takes actions to remove impediments and clear blocking issues for the team
· Aligns and shares best practices of agile principles and methods throughout the organization and works closely with Agile Coach and other SCM in building the Community of Practice.

· Engaged and knowledgeable in the business area (/Service/ Platform/ Channel/ Stream)
· Supports and informs the Product Owner, regarding the grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
· Provide input regarding evaluation of delivery team KPIs, priority changes, definition of Done, knowledge sharing etc
· Accountable for the efficiency metrics (velocity, burn down chart, progress tracking)
· Understands key stakeholders and addresses issues when needed
· Drives the continuous improvement process of the delivery scrum team setting and its productivity.
**People & Relations Management expertise**
· Acts as a coach in establishing self-organizing teams and makes sure the team is goal oriented
· Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
**Manages social risks**
(at team level) and is engaged in conflict management by facilitating discussions, decision making and conflict resolution. Maintains healthy team dynamics and keeps the team motivated.
· Ensures the backlog and team priorities are strictly followed according to the team decision.
· Provides feedback and coaching for team-members and ensures continuous feedback within the scrum team.
**Required Skills and Experience - Standard SM**
· Strong knowledge of Scrum framework and other Agile practices
· Advanced knowledge in collaboration and information management tools (Jira, Confluence)
· Good knowledge of the respective functional business area
· First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) (optional)
· Knowledge about Scrum Master
