**About Our Firm**
Our firm is a well-established practice in Tirana, providing litigation, corporate, and international legal services to local and international clients. To support the continued growth of our litigation operations, we are seeking a senior lawyer to assist with team coordination, quality control, and day-to-day oversight, while working closely with management.
**Role Overview**
This role is designed for an experienced senior employee who will support the management of the litigation team, assist with coordination of work, and help ensure consistency and quality across files.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Management, escalating issues when necessary and providing support in monitoring workflow and performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in coordinating the day-to-day work of the litigation team, ensuring tasks are properly allocated and deadlines are monitored.
- Support the review of pleadings, court submissions, and legal correspondence prior to final approval by management.
- Act as a point of support for junior lawyers on procedural and drafting questions.
- Escalate legal, procedural, or capacity-related issues to the Head of Office and/or Partners in a timely manner.
- Assist in tracking case progress, deadlines, and workload distribution across the team.
- Support internal reporting on team output and operational issues, as requested by management.
- Liaise with external counsel and stakeholders when instructed.
- Contribute to maintaining internal standards, templates, and best practices.
**Qualifications**
- Law degree from a recognised university; admission to a bar association is required.
- 5–7 years’ experience in litigation, commercial, corporate, or high-volume claims environments.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken), with experience drafting or reviewing legal documents in English.
- Prior experience assisting with supervision, coordination, or mentoring of junior lawyers is necessary.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a clear reporting structure and follow management direction.
