**Role Description**
This is a service contract role located in Tirana, Albania, for a Web Developer or Web Development Service Providers. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites to enhance CNVP's online presence. Core responsibilities include front-end and back-end development, programming, and web design. The developer will also ensure the functionality, efficiency, and accessibility of digital platforms to support the organization's mission.
**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming
- WordPress development (custom post types, structured content, scalable architecture)
- Expertise in Front-End Development and Web Design
- Experience with Web Development methodologies and best practices
- Knowledge of responsive design and user interface optimization
- Familiarity with content management systems and website performance optimization
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with environmental or non-profit organizations is a plus
- Advanced search and filtering systems
- Multilingual and SEO-optimized builds
- Content migration and admin training
- Secure, GDPR-compliant implementation
The assignment includes building a modern, responsive website and integrating a structured Knowledge Platform serving as a hub for publications, project outputs, training materials, and interactive learning resources in the forestry and natural resource management sector.
