**Role Overview**
Cardo AI is seeking a
**Senior/Associate .NET Developer to join our team**
in Tirana. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain critical backend systems powering our Portfolio Management System (PMS) and Loan Management System (PCM), core components of Cardo AI’s mission to digitize private credit and structured finance.
We’re looking for a proactive, skilled developer who is passionate about building scalable, high-quality fintech solutions, enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
**What You Will Do**
- Design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems using ASP.NET Core, EF Core, and modern architectural patterns.
- Build scalable and resilient application layers, including APIs, services, and data-access components, targeting SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests (NUnit, xUnit, etc.) and actively participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Interpret functional and business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications, designs, and test strategies.
- Identify areas for improvement, implement optimizations, and ensure system reliability.
- Participate in Agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines (Git, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
**Nice to Have**
- Experience with microservices and containerization technologies (Docker, Docker Compose), Kubernetes,.
- Hands-on experience with Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, or other enterprise architecture patterns.
- Exposure to fintech application development.
- Familiarity with Redis, caching strategies, and event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and managed services (AWS, Azure).
**Your Expertise**
- Proven experience building backend applications with ASP.NET Core and the .NET ecosystem.
- Strong skills in database design, query optimization, and stored procedures using SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles.
- Experience working in concurrent development environments, using source control (Git) and CI/CD best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
- Passion for technology and finance, with interest in growing skills across both domains.
