**Role Overview**
The
**Project Manager (Client Projects)**
is responsible for overseeing and supporting the execution of client projects across our portfolio. Acting as a cross-functional point of coordination, this role ensures clients progress according to plan, milestones are met, and business objectives are achieved.
This position requires a strong business mindset, the ability to understand client goals, and the capability to translate those goals into structured execution and follow-up. Experience in the construction industry is highly valued due to the nature of many client projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Project Coordination & Follow-Up**
- Serve as the main point of contact for project follow-up across assigned client accounts.
- Monitor timelines, milestones, deliverables, and business objectives to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Coordinate with client stakeholders and internal teams to track task completion, dependencies, and priorities.
- Lead regular project check-ins and follow-ups with clients.
**Business & Execution Alignment**
- Understand the business context of each client project and ensure execution supports overall goals.
- Support clients in prioritizing tasks to optimize time, resources, and outcomes.
- Identify risks, delays, or blockers and proactively propose business-oriented solutions.
- Escalate issues as needed and ensure timely resolution.
**Documentation & Communication**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, trackers, and status reports.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication between clients and internal teams regarding project status, risks, and next steps.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our project management frameworks and best practices.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Client Project Manager, or similar role.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client operations, goals, and KPIs.
- Experience managing multiple projects or client accounts simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong follow-up capabilities.
- Comfortable in client-facing roles and managing expectations.
**Nice to Have**
- Experience in the construction industry or related fields.
- Experience working with operational, technical, or field-based teams.
- Background in consulting, professional services, or project-based businesses.
- Experience with remote or distributed teams.
**Success Metrics**
- Client projects consistently progress and meet agreed timelines.
- Business goals and priorities are reflected in project execution.
- Risks are identified early and addressed proactively.
- Clients feel supported, informed, and confident in project progress.
- Strong visibility and control across all client projects.
**Tools & Systems**
Experience with, or willingness to learn:
- **Project Management Tools:**
Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar
- **Task Tracking & Documentation:**
Google Workspace, Notion, Confluence, or similar
- **Communication & Collaboration:**
Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
- **Reporting & Tracking:**
Excel / Google Sheets (timelines, budgets, status reporting)
- **CRM / Client Management (nice to have):**
HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
- **Construction Tools (plus):**
Procore, Buildertrend, or similar
