**About the Role**
We’re looking for an experienced SEO Content Writer to join our growing digital marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who understands that great content isn’t just well written - it also ranks, converts, and supports broader SEO strategy. You’ll create high-quality website content, blog articles, landing pages, and other digital assets for our clients across a wide range of industries, working closely with our SEO and marketing team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Write engaging, authoritative, SEO-focused content across website pages and blog articles.
- Produce content that matches client brand voice and search intent.
- Optimize content using on-page SEO best practices, including headings, internal linking, metadata, keyword placement, image optimization, and schema recommendations where appropriate.
- Refresh and improve existing content to increase search visibility.
- Upload, format, and publish content in WordPress.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to execute content strategies.
- Support off-page SEO by writing guest posts, outreach content, and other link-building assets.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis when required.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure exceptional grammar, spelling, clarity, and readability.
**Required Skills & Experience**
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Excellent written and spoken English with exceptional grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
- Previous experience as a professional content writer or copywriter within a digital marketing or SEO agency.
- Strong understanding of SEO writing, search intent, and both on-page and off-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, heading structures, and internal linking.
- Ability to write long-form authority content, service pages, landing pages, blog posts, location pages, and supporting website copy.
- Solid WordPress experience, including formatting pages, uploading media, creating internal links, and publishing content.
- Understanding of E-E-A-T principles and how to create trustworthy, authoritative content.
- Familiarity with keyword research tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms.
- Ability to follow content briefs while adding value beyond the brief.
- Strong research skills with the ability to write confidently across multiple industries.
**Nice to Have**
- Basic understanding of technical SEO.
- Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Experience with Surfer SEO, Frase, Clearscope, or similar optimization platforms.
- Experience optimizing content for AI search experiences such as Google AI Overviews and LLM-driven search.
- Confident, transparent use of AI writing tools within a quality-controlled editorial workflow.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Familiarity with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
