**Responsibilities**
As a DevOps Engineer at Sim Sector Studios, you will:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure solutions.
- Manage and monitor AWS-based environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes to streamline development workflows.
- Work on infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems.
- Actively participate in troubleshooting, incident response, and resolution to maintain a robust and stable environment.
**Requirements**
- Solid understanding of AWS services and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in version control systems, preferably GitHub.
- Knowledge with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Knowledge of infrastructure management and monitoring.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A solid understanding of Linux, including hands-on experience in using, implementing, and developing with Linux and open source concepts.
- Problem-Solving approach, comfortable gathering requirements and strong communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms for automating workflows.
- Experience with AWS services, best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
