We are seeking an experienced
**Senior SAP Basis Consultant**
with strong
**Italian language skills**
and expertise in modern SAP cloud and data platforms. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize SAP landscapes while supporting advanced data integration and analytics solutions across SAP BTP and related technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Administer and support SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, etc.)
- Perform system installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations
- Manage and maintain
**SAP Basis Administration**
activities across environments
- Administer and support
**SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)**
environments
- Configure and manage
**SAP BTP Smart Data Integration (SDI)**
for data provisioning
- Support and maintain
**SAP Datasphere (SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)**
solutions
- Work with
**SAP BusinessObjects Data Services**
for ETL and data integration processes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
- Manage transports, client copies, and system refreshes
- Ensure system security, user administration, and compliance
- Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and application teams
- Support disaster recovery planning and execution
- Provide technical documentation and best practices
- Communicate effectively with Italian-speaking clients and stakeholders

**Required Skills & Experience**

- 5–10+ years of experience in SAP Basis and system administration
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- SAP Basis Administration
- SAP BTP Administration
- SAP BTP Smart Data Integration (SDI)
- SAP Datasphere (SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)
- SAP BusinessObjects Data Services
- Experience with SAP landscapes (ECC and/or S/4HANA)
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and/or other databases (Oracle, DB2)
- Familiarity with OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Fluency in
**Italian (C1/C2 level)**
and good English communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Experience with:
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- SAP Ariba
- SAP Ariba Contracts
- Experience with SAP migrations (e.g., S/4HANA conversions)
- Knowledge of automation tools and scripting

- Experience in ITIL-based environments
