**The Job**
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will report into the QA Manager and be responsible for leading and expanding automation capabilities for a rapidly expanding consultancy working in the iGaming sector. This is a hands-on role with technical leadership responsibilities, focused on building scalable test frameworks, improving coverage, and ensuring high-quality releases.
You’ll design and maintain automated tests (UI, API, integration) using TypeScript and Playwright, ensure reliability within CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and Product teams in Macedonia. You’ll also help define test strategies, improve QA practices, and mentor other engineers.
**About you**
You’re a technically strong QA professional with a passion for automation and quality.
You’ll bring:
- QA experience with a strong automation focus
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript and Playwright
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and CI/CD tools
- Experience with UI and API testing
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in iGaming, fintech, or similar environments
- Exposure to performance testing, cloud platforms, or Docker/Kubernetes
- SQL knowledge
