**The Opportunity**
The Data & Analytics team is growing, and we’re looking for a
**Credit Research Data Analyst**
to transform raw financial data into structured, actionable insights that drive our platform and client solutions. You’ll work on complex, high-stakes datasets: financial statements, disclosure tables, and semi-structured deal documents that require both analytical rigor and business judgment.
This is not just a data-entry role. You’ll turn messy information into clean, reliable data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools that shape decisions across private credit markets.
Here’s the kind of work you’ll own:
- Collect, validate, and structure data from public filings, company reports, internal sources, and selected third-party providers.
- Prepare datasets for analytics, reporting, dashboards, indices, and other business applications.
- Investigate inconsistencies, document assumptions, and maintain audit-ready datasets.
- Build dashboards and visualizations tailored to different internal and external users.
- Generate fit-for-purpose data tables for modeling, market benchmarks, research reports, and ad hoc analysis.
- Track historical data and maintain reliable structures for recurring monitoring and analytical work.
- Collaborate with research, product, data, and business teams to turn raw information into actionable insights.
- Improve workflows through standardization, templates, documentation, and partial automation.
About You
This role is a strong fit if you:
- Have 1-3 years of experience in analytics, financial services, research support, or data operations.
- Possess financial literacy and can interpret financial statements, investment reports, disclosure tables, and semi-structured source documents.
- Are proficient in Excel and have working familiarity with Python and SQL.
- Have ability to prepare data tables and snapshots tailored to different business needs, including model inputs, market benchmarks, and reporting outputs.
- Can build dashboards and communicate data clearly through business-oriented visualizations.
- Are detail-oriented, organized, and disciplined in maintaining high-quality datasets.
