**QA Engineer | Digital Fox**
We’re replacing the card machine. The plastic card moved from our wallets to our phones, but we still wait for someone to bring us a machine to pay.
Digital Fox lets guests pay directly from their phones. We’re growing, and we want to make this the normal way to pay in restaurants, cafés and bars across Europe.
We’re looking for a full-time QA Engineer who wants to build that company with us.
- You want responsibility and the freedom to make decisions.
- You think beyond the happy path, question assumptions and notice the details.
- You care how the product works for the person using it, not just whether the tests pass.
- You investigate problems, explain them clearly and work with developers until they’re solved.
- You admit mistakes, challenge our ideas and help your teammates.
**What you’ll work on**
Automation will be your main focus. You’ll build and maintain automated tests that catch regressions before release and help us ship changes with confidence.
- Automate tests for critical user journeys, REST APIs and integrations.
- Turn recurring bugs into regression tests so the same problems don’t keep coming back.
- Use exploratory testing to find issues automation doesn’t cover.
- Work with developers to investigate failures, verify fixes and flag release risks.
**Your experience**
You have experience writing and maintaining automated tests with tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium. You’re comfortable testing REST APIs, using SQL to check data, investigating issues with Browser DevTools and Postman, and tracking bugs in Jira or similar tools.
Experience testing payments is a plus. We care more about strong testing skills, how quickly you learn and how you work than whether you’ve used our exact tools.
There’s a lot to build. You’ll help shape how we approach quality, take ownership and work with people who take the work seriously but want to have fun doing it together.
We offer market-level pay and a very generous employee stock option plan (ESOP).
