**Frontend Design System Engineer**
**Role**
- Deliver new features and bug fixes on existing design system web library
- Apply best practices when it comes to software engineering (testing,documentation, code review etc)
- Apply agile methodologies throughout the development process
- Collaborate with developers and designers worldwide
##
**Profile**
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
- We are seeking a Mid-Senior to Senior-level professional with proven experience in the field
- Experienced in Angular, TypeScript, NPM, SCSS
- Experienced software engineer with a track record in frontend development
- Experience with accessibility (WCAG standard)
- Experience with Carbon Design a big plus
- Proven experience contributing to a UI library / design system
- Proven experience collaborating closely with designers, product managers and back-end to ship fast, scalable and consistent interfaces
- Skilled in automated testing
- Familiar with the Linux environment, including shell scripting and software packaging
- Experience with container technologies, like Docker, strongly recommended
- Independent, curious, trustworthy and result oriented
- Great team player who likes multi-cultural working environments and is also able to
- work independently
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
- Proactive, autonomous, reliable engineer with strong communication, adaptability under pressure, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
Success in this role requires hands-on experience developing and maintaining complex Angular applications with AA accessibility compliance. Practical, production-level experience will be key.
