**Operational Director (Retail).**
**Position Purpose**
The Operational Director is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the company’s entire network of supermarkets. He/She ensures sustainable growth, operational efficiency, achievement of financial objectives, and the implementation of high performance standards across all sales locations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develops and implements the operational strategy for the supermarket network.
- Sets short-term and long-term performance objectives (sales, profitability, efficiency).
- Monitors the overall financial and operational performance of the network.
- Leads and supervises the operational sales structure.
- Analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) and takes strategic actions for improvement.
- Ensures optimization of operational costs and improvement of profit margins.
- Collaborates with the Finance, Procurement, Marketing, and Human Resources departments to achieve company objectives.
- Identifies opportunities for expansion, opening new locations, and improving processes.
- Ensures operational standardization and the implementation of best retail practices.
- Reports directly to the CEO / General Administrator.
- Evaluates the performance of middle management.
- Leads organizational change and transformation initiatives.
- Promotes a performance-driven and results-oriented culture.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the Retail industry, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing multi-location retail networks.
- Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership in managing large organizational structures.
- Excellent negotiation and decision-making abilities.
