**GIS Software Engineer**
in our Macedonian office!
**🔷 What will you do?**
- Develop software for advanced spatial analysis and vector manipulation in PostgreSQL
- Develop software for time-series analysis of satellite imagery and the use of machine learning in the classification of satellite data sources
- Actively participate in designing software architecture and propose optimizations for existing applications
- Work on open-source components
**🔷What do we expect from you?**
- Previous experience in software development using the Python programming language
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Daily use of the GNU/Linux operating system through the shell
- Experience using GIT (or another version control system)

**Nice to have**
- Knowledge and experience using PostgreSQL and spatial functions
- Experience working with procedural languages, preferably PL/pgSQL
- Advanced use and server administration of the GNU/Linux operating system
- Familiarity with Python modules such as pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, Jupyter, and Matplotlib
- Knowledge of basic machine learning concepts and algorithms (e.g., Random Forest, etc.)
