Mechanical Engineer is responsible to successfully plan, manage, execute, complete and handover multiple Mechanical projects, , firefighting works, plumbing works. Mechanical Engineer coordinates all Mechanical utilities services with other disciplines before construction and during the implementation of the project on one site or on multiple sites. Oversees the installation of all Mechanical systems included in the project. Plans, organizes, and manages work to stay within budget and complete a high- quality project.
Basic functions and purpose of responsibilities:
• Follows the progress of utilities works in phases, from project idea, implementation, and final testing.
• Ensuring all techniques, procedures, and designs meet appropriate compliance standards.
• Project management and delivery of all stages of Mechanical engineering projects including proposal preparation, concept design, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction review.
• Plans, organizes, and supervises the work of subcontractors to ensure that all works are carried out according to the parameters defined in the project.
• Prepares or coordinates all the necessary technical-legal documentation for obtaining the relevant permits in state institutions if necessary.
• Provides input over the design and development of equipment designs as they progress through the design process.
• Identifies the market of domestic or foreign materials and installers and coordinates with other departments on the selection method.
• Coordinates the work between different installation groups.
• Approval of materials that are implemented on site.
• Prepares and monitors the schedule of implementation of Mechanical works in accordance with the general schedule of the facility.
• Compiles and controls monthly IPC, before going to the Head of Department and costs for approval.
• Design and supervision, periodic maintenance of the Mechanical system during the operation phase.
• Compiles and coordinates the work for the preparation of maintenance manuals of installations.
• Participates in the drafting and implementation of technical safety regulations related to installations together with the HSE Consultant.
• Preparation of the file for permits in the relevant institutions, in a timely manner.
• Other tasks assigned to him.
• Respond to the needs for assistance of all functions, departments in the Company.
• Correct communication, with professional ethics and courtesy to all employees, customers, suppliers and third parties.
• Other tasks for which the employee is charged according to the needs of superiors.
• For subordinate staff (if any) to learn the work processes and to control the performance, the results and to supervise the performance of the respective tasks.
