**System Administrator**
As an
**System Administrator,**
you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company's IT infrastructure. Your main responsibilities will include managing servers, operating systems, and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the IT environment. You will also provide support for system-related issues, implement new solutions, and work closely with other IT teams to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Server & System Management:**
Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers.
- **Infrastructure Support:**
Handle user management, permissions, and software deployment.
- **Directory Services:**
Administer Active Directory and Azure AD, including DNS and DHCP.
- **Security:**
Implement firewalls, patching, and monitoring for system protection.
- **Backup & Recovery:**
Manage backups and disaster recovery plans.
- **Virtualization:**
Maintain VMware/Hyper-V environments.
- **Monitoring & Optimization:**
Track system performance and optimize resources.
- **Documentation:**
Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
- **Collaboration:**
Work with IT teams on integration and infrastructure projects.
**Required Skills:**
- **Operating Systems:**
Proficient in Windows Server and Linux administration, including configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
- **Virtualization:**
Skilled in VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
- **Directory & Network Services:**
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- **System Security:**
Knowledge of security best practices—patching, antivirus, firewalls, and auditing.
- **Backup & Recovery:**
Familiar with tools like Veeam or Commvault and disaster recovery planning.
- **Scripting & Automation:**
Competent in PowerShell or Bash for task automation.
- **Networking:**
Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of
**3 to 5 years**
of experience in system administration within enterprise IT environments.
- Proven
**problem-solving skills**
with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
- **Fluency in English**
, both written and spoken.
**Preferred Certifications:**
- **Microsoft Certified: Windows Server**
or
**Azure Administrator Associate**
.
- **Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC)**
or
**Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)**

- **VMware Certified Professional (VCP)**
or other virtualization certifications
