**Role Description**
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Financial Accountant located in Tirane & Saranda, Albania, with some flexibility for remote work. The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee financial reporting, prepare and analyze financial statements, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and manage accounting processes. The role includes working closely with cross-functional teams to assess financial performance, optimize accounting procedures, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.
**Qualifications**
- Strong expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Proficiency in using Accounting Software and working knowledge of finance-related tools
- Excellent Analytical Skills and a keen eye for detail
- Comprehensive understanding of finance principles and accounting practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently
- Advanced knowledge of tax codes and financial regulations is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide actionable insights
**Tax Requirements**
- 2–4 years experience supporting tax filings and reconciliations.
- Basic-to-strong knowledge of

, payroll taxes, and corporate tax concepts.
- Ability to prepare VAT schedules, reconcile sales/purchases, and support monthly closing.
