About the Role

We are a 
**U.S.-based group of companies**
 operating across multiple industries, including:

- Credit card merchant services & POS systems
- Bakery manufacturing & distribution
- Private-label hot sauce brand
- Multiple restaurant locations

We are expanding our 
**Tirana accounting office**
 and are looking for a 
**reliable, detail-oriented Accountant**
 to support daily accounting operations across several U.S. companies.

This is a 
**long-term, full-time position**
 with structured hours and growth potential.

Position: Accountant (Hybrid – Tirana Office)

You will be responsible for 
**day-to-day bookkeeping, financial tracking, and reporting**
 across multiple U.S. entities while coordinating with U.S.-based accountants and management.

Key Responsibilities📊 Bookkeeping & Accounting

- Manage daily financial transactions for multiple companies
- Enter, review, and reconcile data in 
**Zoho Books and QuickBooks Online**
- Process vendor bills, customer invoices, and payments
- Manage 
**Accounts Payable (AP)**
 and 
**Accounts Receivable (AR)**
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records

📈 Financial Management & Reporting

- Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
- Assist with cash flow tracking and expense control
- Support budgeting and basic forecasting
- Ensure all accounts are ready for 
**U.S. tax filings**
 (coordination only – not filing)

🤝 Operations & Team Support

- Work closely with U.S. teams on:
- POS & merchant service accounts
- Bakery orders & invoicing
- Hot sauce production & sales
- Restaurant financial operations
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal managers to resolve billing issues
- Monitor financial performance of each business unit and flag concerns early

Required Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s degree in 
**Accounting, Finance, or related field**

✅ 
**3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience**

✅ Working knowledge of 
**Zoho Books**
 and 
**QuickBooks Online**

✅ Understanding of 
**U.S. accounting practices**

✅ Good English communication skills (written & spoken)

✅ Strong attention to detail and organization

✅ Ability to manage 
**multiple companies at the same time**

✅ Must be able to work 
**U.S. Central Time hours consistently**

Preferred (Nice to Have)

➕ Experience with 
**multi-company accounting**

➕ Restaurant, food, or retail accounting experience

➕ Familiarity with POS systems or merchant services

➕ Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills

➕ Experience working with U.S.-based teams

Work Schedule

- **Monday – Friday only**
- **7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (U.S. Central Time)**
- **Hybrid Schedule:**
- 3 days in-office (Tirana)
- 2 days work from home
