We are looking for a highly qualified
**Senior Legal Counsel**
to oversee the legal aspects of our business. The Senior Legal Counsel will be an active participant in the day-to-day legal operations, corporate compliance and strategic matters and an integral part of the legal team.
**Job Description:**
- Advising on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company, including but not limited to corporate matters, procurement, safety, security, insurance and sustainability issues.
- Handling and project managing legal negotiations.
- Provide risk management and litigation management.
- Providing legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities.
- Advise on personnel issues and draft documents related to those issues.
- Drafting and negotiating simple and complex contracts.
- To anticipate and manage the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations.
- To secure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations.
- Labor law issues.
- Handling and project managing legal negotiations.
- Dealing with external parties, including external law firms.
- Reviewing contacts with clients, partners, and vendors.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Law with strong academic credentials.
- 7+ years of legal experience.
- Solid knowledge of general business law issues.
- Sharp, strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to a variety of internal and external scenarios and contexts.
- Working in a cross-functional role interfacing with people at all levels within a business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be efficient and have the ability to multi-task with an assertive, independent, and can-do attitude.
