**Position Overview**

U Power is dedicated to delivering unparalleled after-sales support, tailored solutions, and proactive engagement to ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement. To support these activities, U Power is looking for a Regional Electric Vehicle Support Technician to support our team in the Western Balkans, where we are introducing UP VANs to the local market.

This role is responsible for providing technical support and after-sales service in the company's overseas markets while maintaining close communication with headquarters to ensure the timely transmission and implementation of technical updates.

This is a remote Independent Contractor position based in the Western Balkans. The role requires at least 30% travel, including international trips, primarily to Latin America and Asia.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Regional Electric Vehicle Support Technician, you will:

- Communicate with headquarters on a daily basis regarding technical support and promptly obtain and convey technical updates.
- Provide technical support for on-site and regional users and participate in after-sales related business activities.
- Assist headquarters in controlling the delivery quality of vehicles for customers and provide feedback regarding quality.
- Track and handle changes in quality and technical requirements from headquarters.
- Provide technical support for customer vehicles.
- Respond to customer complaints, identify root causes, and formulate regional emergency solutions.
- Assist headquarters in completing emergency repairs and other tasks.
- Travel to regional dealers to provide on-site support.
- Resolve urgent issues that come up from the customer side, both off-site and on-site.
- Help dealers establish a complete service system and gradually optimize service processes.
- Handle claims and judge the reasonableness of claims from a technical perspective.

**Qualifications & Requirements**

Language:

- Fluency in both English and the local languages of the Western Balkans (e.g., Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Albanian, Macedonian) is required.

Professional Experience:

- Experience in operation management, workshop utilization, parts inventory management, and user satisfaction management.
- Prior work experience as a Service Center Director, Service Manager, Front-desk Service Consultant, or Technical Support Engineer in a similar role.
- Experience working for an automobile company or in a service center.
- Experience in automotive electrical maintenance or high-voltage maintenance of EVs.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform simple repairs on EVs.

Skills & Competencies:

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to cooperate closely with the overseas headquarters team.
- Comfortable taking regional business trips and adaptable to cross-cultural differences.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle emergency situations.
- Proficiency in relevant office software and tools.
- Experience using diagnostic tools to interpret vehicle DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) data.

**Travel Requirement**

- Willingness and ability to travel at least 30% of the time, including international travel (primarily to Latin America and Asia).
