MIS and Operational Specialist

**Overview:**

The purpose of the MIS and Operational Senior Specialist position is to provide advanced support in the administration, maintenance, improvement, and monitoring of the company's information systems and operational processes. The position ensures the timely identification, reporting, testing, and resolution of issues in the Core System and other related systems, contributing to operational continuity, data quality, process automation, and improvement of the end-user experience. The role serves as a connecting point between business units, operations, IT/MIS, external partners, and developers, translating operational needs into clear functional and technical requirements and following through on their implementation to closure.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Identify, resolve, and document issues in the Core System and related systems, escalating to IT/Developers when needed.
- Support and test new processes and system changes (requirements, UAT, regression) before go-live, and execute approved updates and control-list changes in the Core System.
- Monitor data quality, reconcile balances and operational data, and flag discrepancies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain user manuals and training materials, support end users, and contribute to unit reporting, objectives, and cross-team collaboration.
- Support other units in executing Core System/MIS-related processes, ensuring correct application of procedures and controls.
- Coordinate with external partners, technology providers, and developers on new implementations — testing, parameterization, and verification.

**Specific Operational and MIS Duties**

- Administration and control of key parameters in the Core System, according to approved access levels and authorizations.
- Tracking of incidents and user requests, with a focus on reducing resolution time and preventing recurring errors.
- Preparation of periodic reports on operational processes, the status of open issues, defects, implemented changes, and improvement needs.
- Coordination with IT/MIS on integrations, APIs, batch jobs, reports, data quality checks, and process automation.
- Verification of the implementation of internal controls within the system, including segregation of duties, traceability of actions, and documentation of approvals.

**Required Competencies and Skills**

·        Very good knowledge of the Core System, operational processes, and MIS reporting logic.

·        Good analytical skills for identifying the root cause of problems and proposing practical solutions.

·        Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.

·        Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools is considered an advantage.

·        Knowledge of functional testing, UAT, defect documentation, and change request tracking.

·        Good communication and coordination skills with internal users, developers, external partners, and management.

·        Orientation toward quality, data accuracy, meeting deadlines, and problem-solving.

·        Ability to work independently and in a team, with good task prioritization.

**Qualifications and Experience**

·        University degree in Economic Informatics, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.

·        At least 3–5 years of experience in MIS, Operations, Core System Support, Business/System Analysis roles, or similar functions.

·        Experience in financial institutions, fintech, electronic payments, consumer credit/BNPL, or a regulated sector is considered an advantage.

·        Good level of English, particularly for technical communication and documentation.
