Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Developer role based in Tirana, Albania. The Developer will design, develop, and maintain Odoo modules and custom features to meet client requirements, ensuring stable, scalable, and secure solutions. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business needs, configuring Odoo applications, writing clean and efficient code, and integrating Odoo with other systems and APIs. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing performance, and supporting upgrades and migrations. The Developer will collaborate closely with consultants, functional analysts, and clients, participate in technical documentation, and assist in user training and post-deployment support.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Python development, Odoo framework, and server-side programming, with experience in modular and maintainable code design.
Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML for customizing Odoo views and front-end components.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), data modeling, and performance optimization in business applications.
Knowledge of software development practices including version control (Git), testing, debugging, and documentation.
Understanding of ERP concepts and business domains such as sales, CRM, inventory, accounting, and project management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to requirements and solutions.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and interact directly with clients.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with Linux environments, deployment, and basic system administration is an advantage.
- Prior experience with Odoo development or other ERP platforms, and fluency in English and Albanian, is highly beneficial.
