**Requirements:**
Master’s degree in environmental/natural resource management, forestry, agriculture, legal sciences, or a related field. A bachelor’s degree in one of these fields plus 2 additional years of relevant experience may be accepted. Minimum 5-years’ experience in natural resource management and related project implementation and/or project management, with a proven track record of achieving results. Leadership and negotiation skills and in-depth knowledge of project management are required. Experience in land and forestry management, environmental/forestry/agriculture technical work, and with the UN or another international organization is desirable.

**Languages:**
Fluency in written and spoken English and Macedonian is required. Knowledge of Albanian or other languages from the region is an asset.
**📋 Key responsibilities:**
Coordinate day-to-day implementation of the GEF6 project with project partners and the Project Management Unit; support natural resource management assessment, planning, evaluation, and capacity development; manage partner registration and due diligence processes; develop TORs and agreements; monitor project partners and coordinate project outputs; provide technical inputs across all three project components; contribute to reforestation/afforestation guidelines and SLM/SFM practices; coordinate with the Ministry, municipalities, and experts on pilot sites; support field implementation; develop knowledge management products; coordinate technical, progress, and financial reporting; liaise with government institutions, municipalities, NGOs, and other stakeholders; organize GEF6 Project Steering Committee meetings; prepare monthly and GEF-required reports; coordinate monitoring and evaluation; and contribute to new land degradation and biodiversity-related project proposals.
