# Founding Full-Stack Developer / Technical Product Builder

## About the Role
We are building a new marketplace platform and are looking for an experienced \*\*Full-Stack Developer\*\* based in Skopje to help turn the product vision into a scalable, market-ready platform.
This is not a traditional developer role focused only on completing predefined tickets. We are looking for a \*\*consultant, problem-solver, and hands-on builder\*\* who can contribute to product decisions, recommend technical solutions, establish the architecture, and lead the platform through development and launch.
You will work closely with the founders and have meaningful influence over the product, technology, and long-term direction of the company.
## What You’ll Do
\* Help define the platform’s technical architecture and development roadmap
\* Build the marketplace platform from MVP through launch and future iterations
\* Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend experiences
\* Build secure and scalable backend services, databases, and APIs
\* Implement marketplace features such as:
\* User registration and authentication
\* Buyer and seller profiles
\* Listings, search, filtering, and matching
\* Messaging and notifications
\* Payments, commissions, and transaction management
\* Reviews and ratings
\* Admin dashboards and reporting
\* Recommend the right technologies, infrastructure, and third-party integrations
\* Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
\* Identify technical risks and suggest efficient ways to validate product assumptions
\* Establish development, testing, deployment, security, and documentation standards
\* Potentially help build and lead a larger development team as the platform grows
## What We’re Looking For
\* Based in \*\*Skopje\*\* and available for a hybrid working arrangement
\* Strong experience in full-stack web development
\* Experience building SaaS platforms, marketplaces, e-commerce products, or other transaction-based applications
\* Proficiency with modern frontend and backend technologies
\* Strong knowledge of databases, APIs, authentication, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations
\* Experience taking a product from concept or MVP to production
\* Ability to make architectural decisions and explain technical trade-offs clearly
\* Product-oriented mindset with an understanding of user experience and business objectives
\* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the development process
\* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
\* Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in building a company, not only completing development tasks
Experience with technologies such as \*\*React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, cloud platforms, payment systems, and marketplace architecture\*\* would be valuable, although we are open to recommendations regarding the final technology stack.
