**Role Description**
The Payroll Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tirana, Albania. The role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting and verifying payroll data, ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs, and maintaining payroll records in compliance with local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include managing payroll taxes, handling garnishments, coordinating with payroll service providers where applicable, and responding to employee inquiries regarding compensation, deductions, and benefits. The Payroll Specialist will collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll, prepare reports, support audits, and implement process improvements. The role also involves staying up to date with payroll legislation and company policies to ensure consistent, compliant payroll operations.

**Qualifications**

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Payroll Processing and Payroll Administration, including end-to-end payroll cycle management.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Payroll Taxes and experience with regulatory compliance and statutory reporting.
- Candidates should possess experience with Payroll Services, including working with external providers and payroll systems.
- Candidates should possess expertise in handling Garnishments and other deductions accurately and confidentially.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel, and strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Albanian payroll regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, maintain confidentiality, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
