Role Description
The
**Truck Dispatcher**
role is a full-time, on-site position based in
**Skopje, North Macedonia.**
As a Truck Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating daily trucking operations, planning and optimizing routes, communicating with drivers, and ensuring that loads are delivered safely and on time.
The role involves working with
**Dry Van, and Reefer**
operations, monitoring trucks through GPS and TMS systems, managing Hours of Service (HOS), and responding to operational challenges in real time.
You will work closely with drivers, brokers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transportation operations while maintaining compliance with FMCSA regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage daily routes and loads for assigned drivers
- Maintain constant communication with drivers and provide operational support throughout the transportation process
- Monitor truck locations and shipment progress using GPS and TMS systems
- Coordinate
**Dry Van, and Reefer**
transportation operations
- Manage specific load requirements, including load securement, tarping, temperature control, dimensions, and other shipment requirements
- Monitor pickup and delivery schedules and ensure loads are completed on time
- Track drivers'
**Hours of Service (HOS)**
and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Communicate with brokers, customers, and other relevant parties regarding load status, delays, and operational updates
- Identify and resolve transportation issues, delays, breakdowns, and other unexpected situations in real time
- Maintain accurate records and keep all relevant information updated in the TMS system
- Optimize routes to improve operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs
- Ensure daily operations are conducted in accordance with
**FMCSA regulations**
and company procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and uninterrupted transportation operations
Qualifications
- Minimum
**2 years of relevant experience as a Truck Dispatcher**
within the U.S. trucking industry
- Experience working with
**Dry Van or Reefer**
operations
- Strong understanding of U.S. trucking operations and transportation processes
- Knowledge of
**FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules**
- Experience working with
**TMS and GPS systems**
- Understanding of different load requirements, including load securement, tarping, temperature control, and load dimensions
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to react quickly and make effective decisions when unexpected situations occur
- Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented mindset
- Good knowledge of U.S. geography, states, time zones, and major transportation routes is considered a strong advantage
- **Willingness to work full-time on-site from our Skopje office**
