AGOG Marketing
/job-details/8382
**Company Overview**
AGOG Marketing is a results-focused digital marketing agency based in Tirana and working with clients across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and North America.
We help businesses improve their visibility, generate qualified leads, and turn their websites into reliable customer acquisition channels. Our services include SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, content strategy, social media marketing, and conversion-focused website improvements.
We work mainly with service-based businesses across industries such as professional services, healthcare, property services, home improvement, technology, and local businesses.
Our approach is practical and performance-driven. We focus on rankings, qualified traffic, leads, and revenue rather than vanity metrics or unnecessary reports.
**Role Overview**
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to support the management and execution of SEO campaigns across multiple client websites.
This is a remote, contract-based role suited to someone who already understands SEO fundamentals and can complete tasks independently with clear instructions and deadlines.
The role is execution-focused. You will work on keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimisation, local SEO, competitor research, technical checks, reporting, and ongoing website improvements.
You must be comfortable managing tasks across several client accounts without losing track of details, deadlines, or previous work completed.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Keyword Research and SEO Planning
- Conduct keyword research for service pages, location pages, landing pages, and blog content.
- Identify keywords based on search intent, relevance, competition, and commercial value.
- Create keyword mapping documents that assign target keywords to the correct website pages.
- Identify content gaps and new page opportunities through competitor and SERP research.
- Avoid keyword cannibalisation and unnecessary duplication between pages.
**On-Page SEO**
- Write and optimise SEO titles and meta descriptions.
- Improve heading structures, page copy, image alt text, URLs, and internal links.
- Optimise existing service pages, location pages, landing pages, and blog articles.
- Recommend improvements to page structure, content depth, keyword targeting, and calls to action.
- Ensure target keywords are used naturally without over-optimisation.
- Review published pages to confirm that requested changes have been implemented correctly.
**Content Support**
- Prepare clear SEO content briefs for writers.
- Recommend article topics based on keyword opportunities, competitor gaps, and client services.
- Review content for search intent, structure, internal linking, keyword usage, and factual relevance.
- Improve older blog articles that are underperforming.
- Add appropriate internal links between blogs, service pages, and location pages.
- Publish or format content in WordPress when required.
**Local SEO**
- Conduct local keyword and competitor research.
- Support the optimisation of Google Business Profiles.
- Review business categories, services, descriptions, photos, posts, and local landing pages.
- Identify citation and directory opportunities.
- Research competitors across specific cities, regions, or service areas.
- Help create and optimise location-specific pages without producing repetitive or low-quality content.
**Technical SEO**
- Perform website audits to identify issues affecting crawling, indexing, usability, and organic performance.
- Check redirects, broken links, duplicate pages, missing metadata, canonical tags, indexation problems, and sitemap issues.
- Review website structure and internal linking.
- Identify Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and page speed concerns.
- Prepare clear technical recommendations for developers.
- Verify whether technical fixes have been completed correctly.
- Advanced development work is not required, but you should understand enough technical SEO to identify problems and explain them clearly.
**Competitor and SERP Research**
- Analyse organic competitors for target services and locations.
- Review competitor rankings, content, backlinks, page structures, and keyword targeting.
- Identify realistic opportunities rather than copying competitors blindly.
- Document findings clearly in Google Sheets or client reports.
- Monitor changes in search results that may affect campaign priorities.
**Reporting and Performance Monitoring**
- Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 to monitor organic performance.
- Track rankings, clicks, impressions, conversions, leads, and landing-page performance.
- Identify meaningful changes and explain possible reasons behind them.
- Prepare concise weekly or monthly updates.
- Clearly distinguish between completed work, results, issues, and next actions.
- Flag performance drops, indexing issues, tracking problems, or unusual changes promptly.
**Link Building and Off-Page SEO**
- Research relevant and credible link-building opportunities.
- Support outreach, directory submissions, digital PR research, and industry-specific placements.
- Review backlink profiles and identify harmful, irrelevant, or suspicious links.
- Avoid automated, spammy, or low-quality link-building methods.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and acquired links.
**Required Experience and Skills**
- At least 2 years of practical SEO experience.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, keyword mapping, and competitor analysis.
- Hands-on experience with on-page SEO and content optimisation.
- Experience conducting SEO audits and identifying technical issues.
- Working knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
- Experience using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with WordPress websites.
- Strong Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good understanding of internal linking and website structure.
- Strong written English.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain consistency across multiple client accounts.
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
**Preferred Experience**
The following would be beneficial but are not mandatory:

- Experience preparing content briefs for writers.
- Experience with Looker Studio or other reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Google Ads and how paid search data can support SEO decisions.
- Experience working with service-based businesses in the UK, Ireland, Europe, or North America.
**What We Expect**
We are looking for someone who:
- Completes tasks properly rather than marking them as finished without checking the result.
- Raises questions early when instructions or data are unclear.
- Can explain SEO recommendations in plain language.
- Does not rely entirely on AI-generated outputs without reviewing them.
- Checks websites carefully before recommending changes.
- Keeps files, trackers, reports, and task updates organised.
- Understands that every client has different services, locations, priorities, and limitations.
- Can prioritise tasks based on potential impact rather than completing random SEO activities.
