Senior Backend Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including .NET 9,microservices, and PaaS. You will collaborate with the CTO to develop and implement backend and frontend solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Collaboration: Work with the CTO to understand and implement the architectural vision for backend (.NET 9).
- Microservices & SPA Development: Develop microservices and single-page applications using React and .NET Core, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Clean & Secure Code: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong focus on performance, security, and best practices.
- Testing: Ensure proper unit and integration testing for new features and bug fixes, leveraging tools like xUnit, FluentValidation, and Playwright.
- Analysis & POCs: Analyze functional and technical requirements, and create Proof of Concepts (POCs) as needed.
- DevOps Collaboration: Work with DevOps engineers to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Code Review & Best Practices: Review pull requests and collaborate closely with developers to implement best practices and standards, ensuring that code is scalable and maintainable while managing technical debt.
- Development & Unit Testing: Develop and unit test applications using Web APIs, Database objects, SPA applications, and mobile components.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle: A strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and practices.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Both oral and written communication skills.
- Support & Maintenance: Experience in the support and maintenance of ongoing projects.
- Tech Trends: Strong interest in staying current with industry trends in technology.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Must Have:
- 6+ years of deep experience with .NET, C# (recent experience with .NET 9).
- Knowledge of Dependency Injection and Middleware in .NET Core/ASP.NET Core.
- 5+ years of experience with multiple databases of various storage types (SQL and NoSQL).
- 3+ years of experience with microservice architecture.
- Extensive experience with HTTP, JSON, and REST APIs.
- Extensive experience with Git and version control.
- Extensive experience with object-oriented design and programming, as well as functional concepts (e.g., using LINQ and some JavaScript).
- Experience with writing unit tests.
- Experience with Web API development and Minimal API development.
- Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience with automated deployment and DevOps tools and technologies.
