POWERCHINA JEPCC is seeking an experienced
**Civil & Structural Engineer**
to join our North Macedonia Solar PV EPC Project. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising civil construction works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all civil and structural construction activities on the Solar PV project.
- Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, IFC drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Coordinate earthworks, site grading, foundations, drainage systems, access roads, fencing, and structural works.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and contractor performance.
- Ensure all civil works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and Construction teams.
- Attend site inspections, testing, punch list clearance, and project handover activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress reports.
- Coordinate with the Client, Consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities when required.
- Identify construction issues and provide practical engineering solutions to support project delivery.
Requirements
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
✔ Minimum
**5 years**
of relevant experience in
**Solar PV, Power, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, or EPC construction projects**
✔ Hands-on experience in:
- Earthworks
- Site grading
- Foundations
- Reinforced concrete structures
- Structural steel works
- Internal roads
- Drainage systems
- Fencing and associated civil infrastructure
✔ Proficient in
**AutoCAD**
for reviewing engineering drawings and construction details.
✔ Good knowledge of construction standards, QA/QC procedures, and HSE requirements.
✔ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
✔ Strong site coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Good command of English (Macedonian language is an advantage).
✔ Immediate availability is highly preferred.
